Tami S. Wyatt is a wife, mother, and Mimi. Her passion has become to live boldly, sharing her faith, and telling others about God. Within her life story are countless examples of God’s faithfulness and provision. At the early age of 12, she was paralyzed from the chest down, having to learn how to walk and write all over. Then at the age of 35 she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, then at age 39 Sjogrens Syndrome. Having to endure multiple surgeries she lives with chronic nerve and muscle pain as well as physical and social limitations.
She believes wholeheartedly in the mercy and grace that God gives daily and without the strength that He provides, she would not make it through each day.
“Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, My power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake I delight in weaknesses, in insults, and hardship, in persecutions, and difficulties. For when I am weak then I am strong.”
2 Corinthians 12:8-10 NIV
“The Lord will fight for you, you only need be still.”
Exodus 14:14 NIV
This was a very important verse when going through the sudden loss of her brother who was only 46 at the time.
“With man this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 NIV
A few years ago, in a devotional book she was reading, the author challenged the reader to get a blank 4×6 card and write the verse on it. This was to be a reminder that with God, all things are possible. She accepted the challenge and then started writing prayer requests, concerns, and joys on the card. It has grown to multiple layers of cards now, stapled together.
